ツェグレディ会長プロフィール

Janos Cegledy (ヤーノシュ・ツェグレディ)　

　1937年ハンガリー・ブダペスト生まれ。10歳の時にニュージーランドに移住。ヴィクトリア大学卒業後、ドイツ学術交流会(DAAD)の奨学金を得て、ドイツのザールラント州立音楽大学音楽院でアンドール・フォルデシュ氏に3年間師事。その御ロンドン王立音楽アカデミー、キルドホール音楽演劇学校でディプロマ取得。

　初来日は1967年、デビューリサイタル及びNHKテレビに出演する。日本でもその実力を高く評価され、日本国内外で演奏活動や作曲活動を本格的に開始する。

　2000年以降の主な活動は、2001年イエール大学、ワシントン大学、デンバー大学他にてレクチャー開催、2007年東京でソロリサイタル開催、2016年ブラジル・アポロ文化祭でコンサート出演等、精力的に活動している。またレシェティツキ国際ピアノコンクール(台湾)、大阪国際音楽コンクール等、国内外のコンクール審査は数多い。後進の育成、美しい音楽の普及の一環として、1991年日本レシェティツキソサエティを発足。会長として尽力し続ける。

東邦音楽大学教授、武蔵野音楽大学講師を歴任し、現在、ニュージーランド音楽学校(ヴィクトリア大学分校)客員教授、レシェティツキ国際サマーアカデミー(ウィーン)常任教授。

Janos Cegledy

     Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1937. Moved to New Zealand at the age of ten. After graduating from Victoria University, awarded the scholarship of German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and taught by Andor Földes at Saarland University of Music for three years. Got Diplomas at Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

     Came to Japan for the first time in 1967. Held the debut recital and appeared on NHK. Received good reviews in Japan then started playing and composing all over the world.

     In 2001 held lectures at Yale University, Washington University, Denver University, and so on. In 2007 held the solo recital in Tokyo. In 2016 played at Apollo Festival in Brazil. Besides performance, judged a lot of competitions such as Leschetizky International Piano Competition in Taiwan, Osaka International Music Competition. In 1991 founded Leschetizky Society of Japan to foster young pianists and make them know what truly beautiful sound is. Then have kept making much effort as President to this day.

     Served as Professor at Toho College of Music and Musashino Music Academy. Now Visiting Professor at New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington and Standing Professor at Leschetizky International Summer Academy in Vienna.
